Bring Back Text to Web Link

What do I have to do to bring back "weblink to opt in"? I would prefer to have clients redirected to their phones instead of having to type in our phone number and then the code. It's a much longer process and it looks awful in our IG stories. What is the reason to force us to use text to opt-in?
I used to use the weblink in my IG stories as well as my website headers. There are way too many characters needed to tell them to "text" then place the phone number, then tell them what to send. I really don't understand why you guys would remove that option. There are so many ways to use a web link. Please help.

Stay away from Emotive. Thats my best advice after nasty experience (I got a class action lawsuit from a customer).
